Instagram will soon add a new option to save your Instagram Stories as drafts, to be posted at a later stage. This option will provide more flexibility in utilizing Stories, while it'll also be beneficial for brands that are looking to post their updates at the most relevant times for their audience.


Telegram raises $150 Mn from Mubadala and Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners

Abu Dhabi state fund Mubadala Investment Co and Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners, a joint venture Mubadala and Falcon Edge Capital (US) invested a combined $150 million in the popular messaging app Telegram.

Mubadala invested $75 million in five-year, pre-initial public offering (IPO) bonds of Telegram, while Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners invested a further $75 million.


Google Search Console users experience crawl stats report data issue

Between March 10th and March, 23rd Google said there was an “internal reporting issue” with the crawl stats report within Search Console. This data issue only impacted the reporting tools and had no impact on your Google Search performance.

You may see a drop in your crawl data in that specific report, but that reporting drop is just a reporting issue and not an actual issue with your Google crawl activity.


Microsoft proposes a method to automatically submit URLs from WordPress to search engines

Microsoft wants to build into the core of WordPress the ability to automatically push new and updated URLs to Bing and other search engines. 

Microsoft to develop and maintain the open-source code in close collaboration with WordPress. WordPress to approve, validate and include code.”


Facebook Tests New 'Green Screen' Creation Option for Facebook Stories

As highlighted by user Mamun Billah, Facebook is now testing a new 'Green screen' option within the Facebook Stories creative tools, which will enable users to overlay their video over a selected video or still image.

the new Green Screen option would be available within your Stories creation tools. Once selected, users will be able to add a photo or video from their Camera Roll, which will then be added as the background.
